Tocatì: Eighth Edition

The Festival is the fruit of the Ancient Games Association (AGA), held since 2002 fighting for the preservation and enhancement of the traditional game.

The event takes place seven years in Verona at the end of September in collaboration with the Culture Department of the Municipality of Verona, and this year will be held on 24, 25 and 26 September.

Scala's scenario in the historical center, in an area of 200,000 square meters, streets and squares is again becoming places to meet and party.

For three days the community traditional games offer over 50 games, including Italian ones and those of a host country, which this year will be Switzerland.

In the context of reflection on cultural values of play and land reclamation, the Festival promotes exhibitions, installations and urban art, meetings and symposia, workshops, concerts of traditional music and tasting of typical products.

The event is sponsored by the European Parliament, the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and the Veneto Region.
